The plains game hunts at Induna Safaris begins at sunrise, with a steaming cup of coffee, and a light breakfast. While you are filling your bellies for the day ahead, the staff at Induna Safaris are getting the hunting vehicles ready ensuring all that is needed for a successful hunt is there.
Our professional hunter will then take you to the African bush, to begin the plains game hunts stalk for which ever magnificent species you are planning to hunt on that day. Once the correct location is reached, everyone grabs what is needed from the vehicle, and the walk and stalk begins.
On many occasions while being in the bush on a hunt at Induna Safaris you will be exposed to an abundance of game around you, this makes for a scenic and very enjoyable hunting experience. The professional hunter will be sure to point out all the interesting fauna and flora in the surroundings.
We boast a wide selection of game, with good quality trophies. You will hunt in an area of varied terrain that is typical of the Eastern Cape’s splendid landscape; it ranges from open plains, thick bush and rocky hilltops.
Accompanying you on every hunt is a cooler box filled with snacks and cold refreshments, so you keep up your energy levels throughout the hunt. We always pack plenty of cold water and soft drinks to keep you going.
After you have shot your trophy, we will then take some photos of you and your trophy, capturing the achievement of your successful plains game hunts, thereafter the animal is taken back to our new and modern caping and slaughtering facilities. The skinner will begin the caping of your trophy, ensuring that we are able to send a good quality trophy to the taxidermist, so that at the end of the day you get a trophy in your home that you can be proud of.
Our caping and slaughtering facilities is of the highest standard, and the skinners have years of experience at what they are doing. The meat from every hunt never goes to waste, we have a large cold room for storage of the meat, which either gets sold, or is utilised by staff. We encourage our hunters to try the venison that they have shot, so you will often get to sample your own kill.
