Tom from the USA visited us earlier this year in April for some Management Plains Game Hunting and decided to return again as he enjoyed it so much in April. Tom has hunted with us numerous times over the past 10 years. Tom has done all the Plains Game Trophy Hunting that his house can occupy (Trophy wise) and now returns for the stalking side of the Hunting.
Tom arrived on Wednesday the 3rd October and will be with us until Monday the 15th October.

From the 4th October until today 9th October Tom has managed to take 11 animals with some great stalking and precision shooting. The animals so far consist of 1 Kudu, 2 Springbuck, 1 Duiker and 7 Impala.

Woke up to some wet weather, all rain is welcome at any time in Africa. Hopefully, we will be able to get out later in the day.

Managed to get out late in the afternoon, once the rainy weather had cleared. We were putting in a stalk on some Warthog but they went into their burrow. Whilst watching the burrow we noticed an old Duiker ewe off to our right feeding and we decided to take her. Tom made a great shot to secure this old Duiker ewe.

Not much luck in the Veldt today with Tom only taking one Impala after a great stalk and a long shot, the wind seemed to have the animals on high alert.

Very slow day in the field today, the weather wasn’t the greatest for hunting, it rained most of the day and we just sat around the lodge, relaxing. Still, a great day was had by all.
